Just finished up the first mix for the new album... The song is titled Oh Me Oh My and it turned out great!  Only  9 songs left!  To the left is a photo of me with the engineer of the project, Steve Werbelow.

Hey Ya'll,

Just spent the weekend in the hills of Kentucky.  My grandmother turned 90 and we had 160 people at her birthday party!  It was awesome!

Spring is here ya'll!  I've just about gotten everything together for the Country Boy Project!  Country Boy is the debut album from the new record label I started Progressive Records!  I will start doing solo and full-band shows with my band The Country Boys this summer to promote the new music!  I look forward to seeing and meeting many new folks!

That's me on the right with the new Antelope Atomic 10m studio clock.  I"ve been playing with it in my studio.  I'm doing lots of tests with it and trying it out on the mixes.  It sounds incredible and with a price tag of almost $10,000 it is one HEFTY piece of pro audio gear!

It's been a stressfull summer but I am glad to be back in the studio making music!

For those of you that know me, I was released from my deal back in May.  Although I am glad to be back on my own, it has been a very humbling experience.  To go from a secure deal, income, and housing back into the real world was quite an awakening for me.  On the other hand, it was extremely motivating!  I have been in the studio all summer recording my debut Positive Rock album.  This project has been a long time coming and I have wanted to make this record for 3 years!  The recording is finished and I am just finishing up on the mixes.  Although I would love to release it on my own, I just don't think it will be possible because I don't have the proper financing to give it the marketing it deserves.  Therefore, I will be meeting with labels, publishing companies, and investors to see the kind of interest and offers I can get for the Album.  I hope to release it this winter or early spring.  I will have samples of the new project up and running on here and the Official Davey T Myspace by the middle of August.
